Heart for Arts Law event – Film, Television and the Law – Wed 21st March

“Film and television law isn’t all popcorn and Maltesers. To guide you through this complex area of law, Arts Law is hosting a panel event on Wednesday 21 March at Giant Dwarf joined by panellists Theo Dorizac (SBS),  Michael Easton (Michael Easton Legal), Sheila Jayadev (Emerald Productions) with the conversation being led by Suzanne Derry (Arts Law). The panel will be discussing topics such as prepublication advice for factual programs and films, as well as navigating and future-proofing rights.

Film producers, cinephiles, students, advocates and lawyers all welcome! All ticket proceeds flow back to the Arts Law to help them service Australia’s creative community. The Giant Dwarf bar will be open prior and following the panel discussion to provide you with an opportunity to network with colleagues working in the film, television and entertainment industries. ”

CPD points can be claimed by legal practitioners for this event.
